A New Chapter for Rowing in Niagara has begun
With the launch of Niagara Community Rowing (NCR) on the renowned Welland Recreational Canal, a new era for rowing in the region is underway. NCR aims to become Niagaraโs premier hub for youth and secondary school rowing, with expanded community programming set to launch in Summer 2026.
A Premier Training Venue
The Welland Recreational Canal is widely recognized as one of Canadaโs top rowing courses, having hosted numerous national and international regattas. Its straight, sheltered waters and consistent racing conditions provide an exceptional environment for both training and competition.
